Load up on heal potions

The problem I have with this comment is that it doesn't make sense. Healing potion heals 1.1 health. Damage taken is 1.2.
The answer is to progress with Eleyna to have her join you in battle for 1 attack.

Yeah just talk to her and complete her quests. Afterwards she can join you in battle and deliver a single hit.
You'll want to use you own hits till you get low than hers.
